The sweet, fruity, and robust fuel-spiked blow of Strawberry Diesel combined with the classic skunky and pungent goodness of OG Kush makes the Bruce Banner strain proud of its Strawberry-Diesel genetics. The flavors and aroma can be described as strong yet sweet, wherein the strong taste of berries mixed with earthy, skunky undertones, and a unique diesel aroma makes for a complex but delightful sensation. A palatable smoke, which is smooth and light, with a sweet, floral flavor and peppery spiciness on the exhale lingers for hours. On the other hand, the taste bursts of the sheer deliciousness of prominent and distinct strawberry flavors with a slight touch of citrus.
Bruce Banner’s extremely high THC content of 27% makes it one of the most powerful weed species currently available. Leaning slightly towards the Sativa side, it produces a potent smash hulk to the head with a balanced and clear-headed high. The initial effects are primarily cerebral, getting the energy, enthusiasm, and self-esteem levels to go up. It also curbs negativities, daily stress while keeping the users alert and motivated. Furthermore, it promotes euphoria that gives feelings of positivity and uplifts the mood instantaneously. After the cerebral high, it gives way to a deeply relaxing body stone that is known to induce couch-lock, offering a calming yet energetic physical response.
Although it’s a Sativa-heavy variant, Bruce Banner’s OG Kush genetics grows to have the structure of an Indica, which is short and bushy. In addition, this species has great ease of cultivation and is a fairly undemanding strain to cultivate. It has a flowering period of 8-10 weeks and produces green buds with a dense structure that develops a lot of THC crystals during growth.
It also grows well both indoors and out, providing a bigger yield than that of its Kush parent. However, it’s not recommended for indoor cultivation due to its tendency to reach towering heights. With indoor cultivation, the plant grows up to 100-150 cm high and can achieve yields of up to 500-700 grams per meter square in a SOG setup. Cropping and topping is also a requirement when growing indoors. It is also important to maintain the humidity low and temperatures between 18 to 26 °C to shield the buds from moisture. Outdoors, it has the potential to produce more than 750-1000G per plant of cannabis for every square meter under warm and sunny climates. Alfresco gardening also tends to produce heftier buds that deliver bright green buds that can be harvested during mid to late October.

Kevin West –
The seed I received was of high quality. The germination was excellent, 9 out of 10. One was malformed at birth and died .One died in transplant. Which left 6 females and one male for my own breeding program. I was impressed by the uniformity of phenotype growth, clearly of a stable lineage. The plants cloned readily. I topped the mother plants several times as part of cloning, creating nice 5ft bushes; which I eventually flowered to excellent effect (indoors). I only needed to top the clones once due to the wide branching growth habit, which produced nice multi-headed colas in a “sea of green” grow-out of plants 2 ft. high. The plants were frosted with resin trichomeres. Some of the pistols and leaves took on purple hues in the later flowering stages. Two of the females produced some spectacularly potent bud, noted for further breeding. Flavors include a pleasant fruity berry aroma and taste; my brain registers “grape.” My instinct and experience tells me the seed harvest turned an estimated THC range of 18-22% under florescent and HPS combo lights, and sensimilla harvest under LED lights estimated at 20-24% (No actual testing was done here, just my best reckoning.) I am looking forward to an outdoor harvest of these reportedly brawny giants next season!
